The Opponent (Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters). The boxing drama The Opponent marks the first production of A Red Orchid NY. The two-character play features original Chicago cast members Kamal Angelo Bolden and Guy Van Swearingen as Donell and Tre, respectively. The play, according to press notes, "takes a look at the hard scrabble world of boxing from the perspective of a small time gym owner and a young up-and-comer. They come from different worlds, they barely understand each other, but in the ring anything is possible. Poor Behavior (Off-Broadway at the Duke on 42nd Street). The Primary Stages production of Theresa Rebeck's Poor Behavior is billed as "a devilish argument about infidelity and America … about two couples spending a not-so-idyllic weekend in the country." The work features Heidi Armbruster, Brian Avers, Jeff Biehl and Katie Kreisler. According to Primary Stages, "What if you made a mistake, years ago, that has destroyed your life, and will continue to destroy your life?
