On the series' second season, Bundy will play Shelby, a potential love interest for the character of George Tucker (Scott Porter). The actress, who is scheduled to appear in the third episode of the season, will be seen in at least two episodes of "Hart of Dixie."
The series follows New York doctor Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson), who accepts an offer to work at a small practice in Alabama. "Hart of Dixie" also features Jaime King, Wilson Bethel and Cress Williams.
Bundy, who received a 2007 Tony nomination for her performance as Elle Woods in Legally Blone, has also been seen on Broadway in Wicked and Hairspray. Her country album, "Achin' and Shakin'," debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
