Contreras, who was last seen in a sold-out Rockwood concert in August, is also joined by Alysha Umphress (American Idiot, On a Clear Day…), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Hannah Elless (Godspell), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell) and Brad Greer, among others.

The evening, which begins at 9 PM, promises "a bigger band and a set of both new and old tunes from 'Love Me, Love Me Not: The Music of Joey Contreras' and his upcoming record, 'Young Kind of Love.'"

"I'm really experimenting with different sounds and structures this time around and I'm excited to deliver some new, interesting musical pop material to the table," composer Contreras told Playbill.com. "Playing at Rockwood has such an insane energy that audiences can definitely expect to be a part of the party. It's very much a dance, drink and enjoy vibe."

Contreras' original compositions and arrangements have been featured in NYC venues including Joe's Pub, Lincoln Center, (le) Poisson Rouge, the Laurie Beechman Theater, The Duplex and multiple Broadway in South Africa galas at the Manhattan Center. Contreras, the recipient of the 2010 ASCAP Foundation Max Dreyfus Scholarship Award and the first Artist in Residence for the Broadway Dreams Foundation, also wrote the music and lyrics for the musical This Thing Called Love as well as his debut album "Love Me, Love Me Not: The Music of Joey Contreras."
