News Lawrence to Be Part of PBS' "A Capitol Fourth"; Bostwick Hosts Sharon Lawrence, the celebrated TV actress most recently on Broadway in Chicago, will be one of the many performers on PBS' Fourth of July special, "A Capitol Fourth 2005."

Hosted by actor-singer Barry Bostwick, the July 4 broadcast will also feature appearances and/or performances by Gloria Estefan, The Beach Boys, Jimmy Smits, The O'Jays, Ronan Tynan, Il Divo and "American Idol" finalist Kimberley Locke. "A Capitol Fourth," which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, will also include the presentation of the National Artistic Achievement Award to Gloria and Emilio Estefan for "their contribution to the national legacy of the performing arts." The National Symphony Orchestra will also perform a salute to the music of "Star Wars," and the show will conclude with Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture," featuring the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets.

"A Capitol Fourth" will be broadcast in the metropolitan area on WLIW-TV Channel 21 at 9:30 PM ET; check local listings.
