Lincoln Center Theater's meet-the-artists program, called the "Platform Series," will continue in October with sessions featuring director choreographer Susan Stroman and bookwriter David Thompson, both of Thou Shalt Not, the Harry Connick, Jr., musical currently playing Broadway. Thompson will appear from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM Oct. 17 in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Stroman will talk on Oct. 24, same time, same place. Admission is free and open to the public, on a first-come, first served basis. People will be let in starting at 6 PM.
Stroman has won Tony Awards for Crazy for You, Show Boat, Contact and The Producers. Thompson wrote the book for Steel Pier and spruced up the script of the current Chicago revival.
