News Leapin' Lizards! Annie Tour, Directed by Martin Charnin, Will Play Holiday Engagement in New York The national tour of the Tony-winning musical Annie will play a limited engagement at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre. The show is scheduled for 16 performances Dec. 15-27.

Leading the cast as Annie is 10-year-old Issie Swickle. Swickle is joined by Gilgamesh Taggett as Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks, Lynn Andrews as Miss Agatha Hannigan, Ashley Edler as Grace Farrell, Garrett Deagon as Rooster Hannigan, Lucy Werner as Lily St. Regis and Jeffrey B. Duncan as President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

The orphan cast features Angelina Carballo as July, LillyBea Ireland as Tessie, Molly Rose Meredith as Pepper, Emily Moreland as Kate, Lilly Mae Stewart as Molly and Isabel Wallach as Duffy.

The cast is rounded out by ensemble members Chelsey Lynn Alfredo, Jonathan Cobdra, Brian Cowing, Ruby Day, Todd Fenstermaker, Madisen Johnson, Brianne Kennedy, Tyler Lenhart, Brendan Malafronte, Jake Mills, Theresa Rowley and Kelsey Shaw.

Rescue dogs Sunny and Macy play Annie's canine companion Sandy.

Annie features music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin and a book by Thomas Meehan. Original director Martin Charnin directs Annie for the 19th time. Liza Gennaro, daughter of original choreographer Peter Gennaro, choreographs.

Annie, based on the "Little Orphan Annie" comic strip by Harold Gray, tells the story of a spunky orphan girl who finds a home with a New York millionaire during the Great Depression while dodging the clutches of her evil orphanage mistress.
