News Lee Blessing's Down the Road Finds Destination at Off-Broadway's Blue Heron Down the Road, Lee Blessing's 1991 play about a serial killer and his chroniclers, is now enjoying a revival at Off-Broadway's Blue Heron Theatre, through Dec. 14. Performances by the Citizen Pell Theater Group production began performances Nov. 29.

Down the Road concerns William Reach, a killer who has claimed 19 victims, and the husband and wife writing team who have been hired to write about his misdeeds. Jeff Menaker directs. The cast includes Christopher Yeatts, Nina Rutsch, Christopher Budinich and Kevin Orr.

The prolific Blessing's many plays include Two Rooms, A Walk in the Woods, Cobb, Going to St. Ives, Black Sheep, Eleemosynary and Chesapeake.
