News Lee Grant and Amanda Peet Will Receive 2012 Herbert Berghof-Uta Hagen Achievement Awards Academy Award winner Lee Grant and Amanda Peet will be honored with the 2012 Herbert Berghof-Uta Hagen Awards Nov. 5 at the HB Studio and HB Playwrights Foundation annual fall benefit.

Joy Behar will host the evening, which begins at 7 PM with cocktails and is followed by a dinner and awards presentation at 8 PM at the Manhattan Penthouse.

The 2012 HB Fall Benefit committee chair, Marlo Thomas (Relatively Speaking, The Shadow Box) and Sarah Paulson (Collected Stories, The Glass Menagerie) will present the Herbert Berghof-Uta Hagen Achievement Awards, which recognize "theatre artists of extraordinary talent, achievement and humanity who, in the conduct of their professional and artistic practice, have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to the vitality, integrity, and mission of the theatre and its community."

Grant made her Broadway debut in Detective Story and reprised the role on the big screen, earning her an Oscar nomination. She won the Academy Award in 1976 for her performance in "Shampoo" and was also Oscar-nominated for her work in "Voyage of the Damned" and "The Landlord." Her other Broadway credits include All You Need Is One Good Break, Lo and Behold!, Two for the Seesaw and Wedding Breakfast, among others.

Peet, who was seen on Broadway in Barefoot in the Park, has been seen on film in "Something's Gotta Give," "Igby Goes Down" and "The Whole Nine Yeards," among others.
