Frances Ruffelle, who won a Tony Award for originating the role of Eponine in Broadway’s Les Misérables, returns to The Green Room 42 in New York City 7 PM November 12 with her cabaret show, Frances Ruffelle Live(S) in New York!, which sold out its October engagement at the same venue.
Producers are again promising that the performer who introduced the song “On My Own” to Broadway audiences will deliver “a wildly entertaining ride straight through the core of the most tender heart, fiery passion and loose comic confidence of a seasoned performer at the height of her game.”
Co-created by Ruffelle and Gwyneth Herbert, Frances Ruffelle Live(S) in New York! has musical arrangements by Herbert with additional arrangements by Jude Obermuller and David Barber.
Though Les Mis was her only Broadway appearance to date, Ruffelle has had a busy career on West End stages, most recently as Queenie in the U.K. premiere of Michael LaChusa’s The Wild Party.
