With original direction by J. Scott Lapp and musical direction/arrangements by Brian P. Kennedy, Les Miserables: Unplugged, press note state, is a "stripped down, acoustic concert rendition of the beloved musical."
The cast will be headed by Adam Hunter as Jean Valjean, Richard Kinsey as Javert, Julie Garnyé as Fantine, Kathy Deitch as Madame Thénardier, Jessica-Snow Wilson as Eponine, David Burnham as Marius (except Nov. 12), James Snyder as Enjolras on Nov. 4 and Marius on Nov. 12, Tom Lowe as Enjolras Nov. 12 and 13, Emily Lopez as Cosette, Randy Ingram as Thénardier and Alex Mohajer as Enjolras Nov. 3.
Based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel, Les Misérables features the songs "I Dreamed a Dream,” "On My Own,” "Stars,” "Bring Him Home,” "Do You Hear the People Sing?,” "One Day More,” "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables” and "Master Of The House." The musical was written by Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schönberg and Herbert Kretzmer.
