Grandy is the latest actor to be featured in the "Broadway Spotlight" series, which presents new Broadway actors in an intimate setting. Show time is 8 PM.
The singing actress has titled her show Nice Talking to Me, and she will share the stage with such alter egos as Rocker Chick, R&B Diva and Redneck Woman. Andrew Byrne and David Nehls are the musical directors for the evening, which features arrangements by Nehls, David Matos, Paul Ranieri, Paul Davis and Matt Heimer.
Marya Grandy received a Drama Desk nomination for her performance in The Great American Trailer Park Musical. Her other theatrical credits include The Water Coolers, Gypsy, Beehive, Smokey Joe’s Café, The Honky Tonk Angels and Working. Grandy's screen credits include "Conviction," "Law & Order: SVU," "Denis Leary's Merry F***ing Christmas" and "Love Streams."
