As Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead parodies Hamlet, Matt Pepper's comedy St. Crispin's Day gives the Shakespeare tale a worm's eye spin, looking at the glorious battle of Agincourt from the soldier's point of view. Simon Hammerstein directs the Rattlestick production.
The cast includes David Wilson Barnes, Lauren Berst, Lee Blair, Denis Butkus, Mayhill Fowler, Michael Gladis, Robin Goldsmith, Darren Goldstein, Richard Liccardo and Tommy Schrider.
The design team features Michael V. Moore (set) and Charlene Alexis Gross (costume).
Rattlestick Productions' world premiere staging of Jonathan Tolins' The Last Sunday in June recently made the leap to a commercial run at Off Broadway's Century Center. Other Rattlestick productions have included Ben Bettenbender's bliss, Doug Field's Down South, Daniel MacIvor's See Bob Run, Lucy Thurber's Killers and Other Family and Harry Kondoleon's Saved or Destroyed.
