MCC Theater, Public, CSC, Atlantic, Minetta Lane, Vineyard Among Off-Broadway Stages Returning After Blackout; Here's What's On Following four nights of darkness in Lower Manhattan due to the deadly Oct. 29 landfall of Hurricane Sandy, power was finally restored to some businesses and homes below 34th Street starting the evening of Friday, Nov. 2. Off-Broadway companies that were dormant since Monday are starting to announce their returns.

Atlantic Theater Company's Harper Regan, by Simon Stephens, at the Linda Gross Theater on West 20th Street was the first to announce resumption of its run: The final four performances will play Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2 PM & 8 PM and Sunday, Nov. 4 at 3 PM & 7 PM (the latter being a special added performance).

A collective of Off-Broadway producers and theatres announced on Nov. 2 that when power does come back to its participating venues, they are offering theatregoers $20 tickets through Nov. 11. (The Off-Off-Broadway show Through the Yellow Hour will offer tickets for only $15). When buying tickets Nov. 3-11, mention the discount code "Sandy" for the following productions: Checkers, Don't Go Gentle, Falling, Fuerza Bruta, Giant, The Golden Land, The Other Josh Cohen, Sorry, Stomp, A Summer Day, The Twenty-Seventh Man and Wild With Happy. Check with participating theatres for schedule and availability.
