Tony winners Lillias White and Leslie Uggams will host the evening, which will also feature tap dance extraordinaire Jason Samuels Smith.
"The Apollo celebrates Broadway with this special themed Amateur Night at the Apollo," according to press notes. "Amateurs compete for the winning prize by singing from the Broadway songbook."
