News Lindsay Mendez, Lucas Steele and Tony Yazbeck Join Lineup for Broadway Belts for PFF! Concert Lindsay Mendez, who stars in the hit Broadway musical Wicked, Lucas Steele and Tony Yazbeck have joined the lineup of performers set for the fourth annual Broadway Belts for PFF!, hosted by Julie Halston. The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) benefit concert will be held Feb. 24 at 7 PM at Birdland Jazz Club.

Directed by Carl Andress, the evening will also feature the talents of the previously reported Klea Backhurst, Tony nominee Liz Callaway, Robert Creighton, Tony winner Cady Huffman and Rashidra Scott. Doors will open at 5:30 PM with curtain time at 7 PM.

The concert will have musical direction by Christopher McGovern, musical supervision and arrangements by Ed Windels and a script by Halston and D. Michael Dvorchak. Trisha Henson is stage manager, and Sue Frost is co-producer.

Halston is a spokeswoman and activist for pulmonary fibrosis, along with her husband, former Sirius XM news anchor for "The Howard Stern Show," Ralph Howard, who was diagnosed with the disease in 2008. Over the past three years the concerts have raised over $150,000 for PFF.

All funds will go toward The Michael Kuchwara Fund for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Research, Education, and Advocacy in honor of the late Associated Press theatre critic and reporter.
