Broadway Remembers Whitney is scheduled for 9:30 PM at Joe's Pub.

The "celebration of Whitney's life through an evening of her music, arranged in concert for, and sung by, some of Broadway's fiercest voices -- voices undeniably influenced and deeply moved by Whitney's presence and her artistry" will feature the talents of Kacie Sheik (Hair), Chester Gregory (Sister Act, Tarzan), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Jay Armstrong Johnson (Catch Me If You Can), Carrie Manolakos (Mamma Mia!), Ato Blankson-Wood (Lysistrata Jones, Hair), Caissie Levy (Ghost), Uzo Aduba (Godspell), Morgan James (Godspell) and Julia Mattison (Godspell).

Kris Kukul is the music director.

Proceeds will go to the The Whitney E. Houston Academy of Creative and Performing Arts, a school that aims to teach its students to become contributing members of society now and in the next century.
