News Lion King, Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins to Offer Free Kids Tix This Winter Disney Theatrical Productions, which reinvented the family- friendly musical for Broadway, has announced a limited "Kids Go Free!" ticket offer beginning Dec. 1.

The Broadway productions of Disney's The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins are participating in the offer that allows ticket buyers to receive one free child's admission for children ages 18 and under with each full-priced ticket purchased to the participating Disney production from Jan. 6-March 13, 2009.

The "Kids Go Free!" ticket offer begins at 10 AM ET on Dec. 1 and will continue until 11:59 PM on Dec. 12. The limited offer is valid only with the purchase of a full-priced orchestra or front-mezzanine ticket. Additional orchestra and front-mezzanine tickets can also be purchased under the offer for 50 percent off the full price.

"Winter is the ideal time to bring families together and Broadway has the power to do that in a singular way," said Thomas Schumacher, producer and president of Disney Theatrical Group in a statement. "All three of our Broadway productions are timeless stories about families and I believe that when you give the gift of Broadway - especially to a child - you are making a memory that will last a lifetime."
