The Lion King has already triumphed on the big screen and the Broadway stage. Now it is set to conquer the small screen as well. The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, a video sequel to the widely popular film, will be released on video Oct. 27. The video picks up where the original left off, and follows Simba's relationship with his daughter (voiced by Neve Campbell) and his efforts to contend with her growing up. The video will reunite many of the vocal talents who made the movie a success, including Rowan Atkinson (as Zazu), Matthew Broderick (Simba), Robert Guillaume (Rafiki), Nathan Lane (Timon), and Ernie Sabella (Pumbaa).

The score has been composed by several different teams of artists. Tom Snow and Jack Feldman have written "Love Will Find a Way," "One of Us" and "We Are One"; Randy Petersen and Kevin Quinn have penned a tune called "Upendi"; and Joss Whedon and Scott Warrender are contributing "My Lullaby."
