Raize and Creswell's segment is scheduled for 8:30 AM. Disney's The Lion King began previews at the New Amsterdam Theatre Oct. 15, 1997, and opened Nov. 13. The show general fills 101 percent of its weekly capacity, with tickets now selling through Oct. 1, 2000. The show won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Director for Julie Taymor.
