News Lisa O'Hare, Charles Shaughnessy, Hayden Tee Will Head Cast of North Shore My Fair Lady Lisa O'Hare, who played Eliza Doolittle in Cameron Mackintosh's national tour of My Fair Lady, will reprise that role in the North Shore Music Theatre's upcoming production of the classic musical.

O'Hare, whose London theatre credits include the title roles in both Mary Poppins and Gigi, will be joined at the Massachusetts venue by Charles Shaughnessy ("The Nanny") as Professor Henry Higgins, Peter Cormican (Colonel Pickering), Sarah deLima (Mrs. Higgins), Bill Dietrich (Alfred P. Doolittle), Cheryl McMahon (Mrs. Pearce) and Hayden Tee (Freddy Eynsford-Hill).

The cast of 19 performers is completed by Audrey Cardwell, Sarah Ellis, Thomas Gibbons, Jordan Grubb, Eric Huffman, Robin Lounsbury, John Matthew Myers, Sarah O'Connor, Ellen Peterson, Jp Qualters, Lisa Rohinsky and Joseph Torello.

Directed by Charles Repole and choreographed by Michael Lichtefeld, performances are scheduled for June 7-19.

My Fair Lady is based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and features a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. The original Broadway production opened on March 15, 1956, ran for over six years and won nine Tony Awards, including one for Best Musical. The score contains such Broadway classics as "I Could Have Danced All Night," "On the Street Where You Live," "Wouldn't It Be Loverly?" and "Get Me to the Church on Time."

The creative team also includes Craig Barna (musical director), Howard C. Jones (scenic designer), Gail Baldoni (costume designer), Jack Mehler (lighting designer), James R. McCartney (sound designer), John Godbout (production stage manager), Cassandra Marsh (assistant music director) and Natalie A. Lynch (assistant stage manager).
