News Little By Little, the Musical Romantic Triangle, Returns to NYC May 8-19 Little by Little the three-character musical that played Manhattan's York Theatre Company in 1999 and regionally ever since, gets a new New York City showcase run May 8-19.

The intimate musical by composer Brad Ross and lyricists Ellen Greenfield and Hal Hackady follows three pals from childhood to adulthood and shows how romance throws a monkey wrench into the works.

The new run plays the John Houseman Studio II Theatre.  Hackady is known for Minnie's Boys and Goodtime Charley, among other works. Greenfield and Annette Jolles (who also directed the York production), penned the original story.

Jess McLeod will direct, Brian Cimmet (a regular at Main State Music Theatre) will musical direct.

The cast includes David Niles (Reach for the Stars), Erin Leigh Peck (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, Dance of the Vampires) and Lauren Rubin (The Donkey Show).

The unusual schedule plays 7 PM May 8, 8 PM May 9, 8 PM May 10, 8 PM May 13, 7 PM May 14, 7 PM May 15, 8 PM May 16, 8 PM May 17 and 7 PM May 19. Tickets are $15 and can be reserved by calling (212) 726-3566.  *

Little by Little's cast album is in stores. The show has been seen in Maryland, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Ann Arbor, MI, and elsewhere.
