News Little Dog's Neal Huff to Be Part of For the Love of Pete Reading Neal Huff, who currently co-stars in the Off-Broadway hit The Little Dog Laughed, will take part in a free reading of For the Love of Pete on Feb. 27.

The free reading of Jonathan Bernstein's play will be held at the Ars Nova and will also feature the talents of John Conlee, Judy Greer, Josh Lewis, Megan Lewis and Michael Showalter. Playwright Bernstein will direct the 7 PM performance, which is part of the theatre's Out Loud reading series.

In For the Love of Pete, "six actors present a modern adaptation of short vaudevillian plays that Cervantes wrote in 1615. In doing so, this baker's handful must overcome internal jealousies, marital discord, audience participation and incomprehensible Australian euphemisms."

Neal Huff has been seen on Broadway in Take Me Out, The Lion in Winter and The Tempest. Among his Off-Broadway credits are Troilus and Cressida, Occupant, Rude Entertainment, Blue Window, Grief and From Above. On screen Huff has appeared in "Hollywood Ending," "The Shallow End," "Big Daddy," "Happy Accidents," "Backwoods to Brooklyn," "Love Walked In," "The Wedding Banquet" and "Hitting the Ground."

The Ars Nova is located at 511 West 54th Street. Although the reading is free, reservations are required by calling (212) 977-1700.
