News Little Ham Team Sends Pure Gospel Valentine to Houseman, Through Feb. 16 Looking to make Gospel a year-round celebration, Leslie Dockery and David Tobin — creators of A Pure Gospel Christmas and the upcoming A Pure Gospel Easter — reteam with producer Eric Krebs to present A Pure Gospel Valentine at the John Houseman Theatre through Feb. 16.

Just in time for the romantic holiday, A Pure Gospel Valentine combines ten of the area's gospel singers with soulful love songs including "You Got Me Going in Circles," "Shower the People That You Love With Love", "I Want to Know What Love Is", and "Solid." The evening's belters will be backed by a five-piece band. Dockery as a director has staged Rollin' on the TBA and Just a Night Out!. She recently choreographed Off-Broadway's Little Ham and in the past carved out footwork for Beehive. As a performer, she appeared on Broadway in Amen Corner, Sophisticated Ladies and Eubie!

Krebs has produced It Ain’t Nothing But the Blues, Little Ham and Paul Robeson.
