News Little Shop of Horrors With Ellen Greene Is a Hot Ticket, Second Show Added Audrey, Seymour and Mr. Mushnik will be open for business a bit longer. Strong ticket demand has prompted New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center series to add an additional performance of the Alan Menken-Howard Ashman musical Little Shop of Horrors this July.

Ellen Greene

Ellen Greene, who created the role of the lovably ditzy Audrey both on stage and screen, will reprise that performance under the direction of Dick Scanlan. Performances will take place July 1 and 2 at 7:30 PM. Tickets for the added July 2 performance go on sale Jan. 21 at noon.

The Urchins will be portrayed by Caroline, or Change's Tracy Nicole Chapman, Marva Hicks and Ramona Keller. Patricia Wilcox will choreograph.

Little Shop of Horrors is described as "a sci-fi musical about a hapless florist shop worker who acquires an R&B-singing plant that feeds on human blood."
