Foster will emcee the third annual event with Hallie Kate Eisenberg, of Pepsi commercial fame. The Nov. 8 parade begins at 9 AM at 56th Street and Seventh Avenue and proceeds down Seventh Avenue to the Toys "R" Us store in Times Square.
Following the parade, many restaurants in the Times Square area will offer special family promotions. Those taking part in the kids celebration include Brazil Grill, Broadway Joe Steakhouse, La Primavera, Manhattan Chili Co., Pasta Break, Raku, Restaurant Charlotte, Rio Grand, Rosa's Place, Mars 2112, and St. Andrews. Retail stores offering discounts include: Capezio Dance Theatre Shop, Cash RX Plus, Georgi-Oh! and Zan.
Hunter Foster stars as Seymour in the Jerry Zaks-directed production of Little Shop of Horrors, which recently opened at the Virginia Theatre. His previous Broadway credits include Bobby Strong in the Tony nominated musical Urinetown; Footloose; Grease!; and Les Misérables, and he also took part in the concert presentation of Alan Menken and Tim Rice's King David. Foster was seen in the national tours of Martin Guerre and Cats as well as the Paper Mill production of Children of Eden. Also a writer, he penned the book for the musical Summer of '42, which was mounted at the Variety Arts Theatre.
