News Live Design Broadway Master Classes Conversation With John Kander Held June 5 The 2014 Live Design Broadway Master Classes series continues June 5 at 4:15 PM with a a conversation with Tony-winning composer John Kander.

Composer Kander converses with sound designer Nevin Steinberg to discuss the essential collaboration between the two roles. The conversation is held at NYU Tisch School of the Arts at 721 Broadway.

"Sound designer Nevin Steinberg, currently represented on Broadway with Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella which he received a Tony nomination, discusses the essential designer-composer relationship with Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander," press notes state. "They most recently collaborated on The Landing, a John Kander musical last fall."

Kander is a Tony Award winner for Kiss Of The Spider Woman, Cabaret and Woman Of The Year. He received Tony nominations for The Scottsboro Boys, Curtains, Steel Pier, The Rink, The Act, Chicago and The Happy Time.

The Live Design Master Classes feature the industry's top designers and artisans coming together to share their insights and opinions with attendees from around the world in a relaxed intimate setting.
