News Liz Larsen Leads Evening of Blacklisted Music at the Zipper Nov. 5 Tony nominee Liz Larsen and fellow cast members from Such Good Friends, the recent NYMF musical about a 1950's television show during the McCarthy-era blacklist, will present an evening of music by blacklisted composers at the Zipper Factory Nov. 5.

The evening, entitled Are You Now or Have You Ever Been, will feature the music of Leonard Bernstein, Yip Harburg, Abe Burrows, Harold Rome and others who found themselves under the scrutiny of the House Un-American Activities Committee in the 1950's. Songs from Such Good Friends, penned by NYMF Excellence Award winner Noel Katz, will also be performed. Joining Larsen will be Such Good Friends cast members Joshua Campbell, Michael Thomas Holmes and Blake Whyte along with special guest stars Kate Baldwin (Wonderful Town), Jeffry Denman (The Producers), Kerry O'Malley (Into the Woods), Graham Rowat (Lovemusik) and Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde).

The Nov. 5 concert is presented by Kim Vasquez/GrayLady Entertainment, with Marc Bruni directing and Michael Horsley serving as musical director.
