News Liza Minnelli Records New Song for "Boardwalk Empire" Soundtrack; Atlantic City Concert, Too Award-winning singing actress Liza Minnelli has recorded a new song for the upcoming soundtrack to HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."

Minnelli's recording of "You've Got To See Mama Ev'ry Night (Or You Can't See Mama At All)" will be part of "Boardwalk Empire Volume 2: Music from the HBO Series." That recording is due Sept. 3.

In related news, the famed entertainer will perform in Atlantic City, where "Boardwalk Empire" is set, Sept. 28 at Caesar's.

Minnelli earned Tony Award nominations her performances in The Rink; Flora, the Red Menace; The Act;and Liza's at the Palace, winning the award for The Act and Flora as well as a special 1974 Tony. She also presented a tribute to her late father Minnelli on Minnelli at the Palace and has appeared in the films "The Sterile Cuckoo," "Arthur," "New York, New York" and "Stepping Out." The singer is also a Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actress.
