Lobby Hero Tony Nominee Brian Tyree Henry Joins Cast of Godzilla vs. Kong

Brian Tyree Henry, a 2018 Tony nominee for his performance as William in Kenneth Lonergan's Lobby Hero, has joined the cast of Legendary and Warner Bros.’ Godzilla vs Kong, according to Deadline.

Directed by Adam Wingard, the fourth installment of the franchise will also feature Millie Bobby Brown, Tony-nominated Eclipsed playwright Danai Gurira, and Julian Dennison.

The monster film is currently scheduled to be released May 22, 2020.

Henry, whose credits include White Boy Rick and This Is Us, also earned an Emmy nomination this year for the FX series Atlanta. He made his Broadway debut in the Tony-winning The Book of Mormon.
