News Logan Marshall-Green Joins Cast of Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" Film Logan Marshall-Green, who currently stars Off-Broadway in Adam Rapp's The Hallway Trilogy, has signed on for the new motion picture thriller "Prometheus."

Variety reports that Marshall-Green will co-star with the previously announced Noomi Rapace ("The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo"), Charlize Theron ("Monster") and Michael Fassbender ("Inglorious Bastards") for the Ridley Scott sci-fi thriller, which had been characterized as a prequel to the hit "Alien" franchise, but will now take on the origins of the universe.

Filming will begin in May. Damon Lindelof and John Spaihts have authored the screenplay.

Marshall-Green is known for screen roles on "The O.C.," "24," "Traveler," "Dark Blue" and in the Julie Taymor film "Across the Universe." On stage he has been seen in King Lear with Kevin Kline for Shakespeare in the Park, as well as Dog Sees God, Beast Unleashed and U.S. Drag.
