Richard O'Brien (creator of The Rocky Horror Picture Show) and Anton Rodgers (an experienced stage actor but best known for numerous television series, including "Fresh Fields") are to join the cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium.
Anton Rodgers will play the role of Grandpa, and Richard O'Brien the role of the Child Catcher. Lionel Jeffries and Sir Robert Heplmann respectively played these roles in the 1968 film.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will open on April 16, after previewing from March 19.
