News London Concert Celebration of Cole Porter to Feature Maria Friedman, Jenna Russell and More Anything Goes, a concert celebration of the music of Cole Porter, will begin performances Aug. 20 at London's Cadogan Hall, near Sloane Square, for five performances through Aug. 23.

It will feature three-time Olivier Award winner Maria Friedman, Olivier winner and Tony nominee Jenna Russell, Olivier winner Clive Rowe and Graham Bickley.

Richard Balcombe will conduct the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra in songs from Porter's Anything Goes; Kiss Me, Kate; High Society and many other of the composer's musicals. The concert also features a chorus from the Royal Academy of Music’s Musical Theatre Company.

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, formed in 1987, has built up an international reputation performing in the major concert halls in the U.K. and around the world, and is known for its versatile programming of classical, light classical and popular music.

The Royal Academy of Music’s Musical Theatre Company was started in 1994 with the aim of providing a multi-skilled training program in a professional environment – the students often work with professionals and are treated as a theatre company.
