Classic Arts News Long-Thibaud Piano Competition Winners Announced The winners of the 2007 Margu_rite Long-Jacques Thibaud International Competition, the finals of which were held in Paris this weekend, have been announced.
The six winners are:

  • First: Hibiki Tamura (age 20, Japan)
  • Second: Junhee Kim (age 17, South Korea)
  • Third: Sofya Gulyak (age 27, Russia)
  • Fourth: Tae-Hyung Kim (age 22, South Korea)
  • Fifth: Antoine de Grol_e (age 23, France)
  • Sixth: Tristan Pfaff (age 22, France)

Tamura will receive 30,500 euros. The second through sixth prizes carry monetary awards of 15,200; 7,600; 4,500; 3,800 and 3,000 euros, respectively.
