NEW YORK CITY CHILDREN'S THEATER 2019-2020 EDUCATION AND ARTISTIC APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM, New York City Children's Theater
NYCCT seeks two Education Apprentices for the 2019-2020 school year. The Education Apprentices will work closely with the Director of Education and Education Associate. The Apprentices will divide their time between teaching the Literature at Play theatre and music residency program in Pre-K to 5th grade school classrooms, community centers, and homeless shelters across the five boroughs of NYC, and providing administrative support to the education department at the NYCCT office. NYCCT’s Education Programs annually serve an average of 100 elementary schools, community centers, and homeless shelters per year. Current outreach programs include Literature at Play, a theatre and music residency program for Pre-K-5th grades, a multi-sensory musical named FIVE that is designed for students with disabilities and the very young, and two interactive anti-bullying applied theatre workshops for 1st-5th grades.

SUMMER PRODUCTION INTERNS FOR COMEDY AT THE CHERRY LANE THEATRE, Bull Journey Productions
Producers looking for summer interns for two shows: Mike Birbiglia: Working It Out and Jacqueline Novak: Get On Your Knees, directed by John Early, presented by Natasha Lyonne, Mike Birbiglia executive producer. June 8 - August 18 at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Must be availble minimum of 3 nights per week. No experience required but the ideal candidate should have a strong interest in learning about theater production. Our interns gain insight into the industry, acquire knowledge of the New York City theatre landscape, learn the basics of theatre operations, and work directly with the producers to keep the shows running.

PRODUCING INTERN, Vineyard Theatre
The Producing Intern will be involved in all aspects of producing for a non-profit off-Broadway theatre, from pre-production to reconciliation and everything in between, as well as all readings, workshops, and special events. Focus will include rehearsal prep, artist relations and communication, all aspects of company management, building and cultivating relationships with other producers, AEA guidelines and producing readings, marketing strategies, community engagement via cross-promotion and sponsorships, fundraising strategies, opening and closing night parties, special events, arts education, and more.

SUMMER INTERN, Theatre Row
Theatre Row is a program of non-profit Building for the Arts. Our interns gain insight into the industry, acquire knowledge of the New York City theatre landscape, learn the basics of theatre operations, and work directly with the General Management team to keep the facility running.

DEVELOPMENT AND CASTING INTERN (THEATRE), RWS Entertainment Group
Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Theatre Ventures, the Development & Casting Intern will provide general support by assisting in the daily operations of the Theatrical & Development Department and Binder Casting.

PART-TIME DEVELOPMENT INTERN, Dramatists Guild Foundation
Dramatists Guild Foundation (DGF) seeks a part-time Development Intern for the Summer of 2019 (June-August, exact dates negotiable). Interns working 18+ hours per week will be provided with an MTA Unlimited MetroCard for the length of their internship.

RAVE THEATER FESTIVAL MARKETING INTERN, Rave Theater Festival
The Rave Festival Interns will work mainly with our Marketing Team and Managing Director but will coordinate with all departments to ensure festival operations run smoothly. The Marketing Intern will work with the Operations Intern and will be responsible for general office support and assistance on the ground during the festival. Ideal candidates will have a solid customer service background, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills. Applicants should be eager to learn, able to take initiative, ready to jump into any project, and comfortable under pressure. Technical skills and comfort with basic tools is a plus

OUTREACH AND SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP, Pan Asian Repertory Theatre
Seeking dedicated candidates for our Outreach/Social Media Internship to begin immediately. This intern will assist in various aspects of marketing to build the attendance and visibility of Pan Asian Repertory Theatre’s annual programs, including Nuworks 2019, Mainstage Productions THE EMPEROR’S NIGHTINGALE and CAMBODIA AGONISTES, Staged Readings, Professional Training Labs, and the company’s annual Fall Benefit Gala. The candidate will assist in outreach to schools, community groups, and new audiences through mailings, emails, and social media platforms. Stipend will be provided. Ideally, the candidate should be able to commit to at least 15-20 hours /week

PRODUCTION APPRENTICE, New York Live Arts
This is a full- time position with an hourly stipend. Workers Comp and Disability Coverage is also provided with the apprenticeship. There is no housing stipend; all applicants must be able to secure housing within commuting distance to New York City.

SUMMER INTERN, URTA
Interns aiming toward a career in theatre will find mentorship opportunities in many areas of the field, both within our staff and among our 43 member universities and partner institutions. Stipend is $50 a week. Flexible schedule built with your needs in mind.

MARKETING/SOCIAL MEDIA SUMMER INTERN, Broadway Licensing
Broadway Licensing seeks an intern with a strong interest in learning about marketing, specifically for the theatre and musical theatre industry. This highly-interactive internship aims to provide experience working with new musicals and plays within our catalogue, and an opportunity to participate in our daily operations as we partner with theatres and playwrights. An appreciation of theater and an enthusiasm for new works is a plus.

VIDEOGRAPHY INTERN, Williamstown Theatre Festival
The Videography Intern will have the opportunity to learn professional skills from the WTF Marketing & Publicity team. The seasonal Videography Intern will be supervised by the full-time WTF Communications Coordinator.
