Lookingglass Theatre Appoints New Artistic Director | Playbill

News Lookingglass Theatre Appoints New Artistic Director Heidi Stillman has been appointed the Lookingglass Theatre's new artistic director, according to the Chicago Tribune. She returns following an earlier tenure at the venue from 1997-2000.

During her previous run as artistic director, she helmed productions of Cascabel and Hard Times.

The Tribune reported that Stillman was selected via a triennial vote between the theatre's board of directors and ensemble members. She replaces Andrew White, who has served at the helm since 2010 and will take on the position of connectivity and engagement director.
