Classic Arts News Louis Armstrong House Acquires Significant Memorabilia Collection The Louis Armstrong House and Archives at Queens College has acquired the Jack Bradley-Louis Armstrong Collection, JazzTimes reports.
The memorabilia collection includes films, recordings, letters, manuscripts, postage stamps from 14 countries featuring Armstrong's image, and Armstrong's clothes. The collection was acquired through a $480,000 grant awarded by the Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation.

Jack Bradley was Armstrong's personal photographer and good friend.

Highlights from the collection will be on display at Armstrong House November 3, 2005-February 26, 2006.
