News Louise Dearman to Present Two Christmas Concerts at London's St. James Theatre Louise Dearman, who is currently appearing as Elphaba in Wicked through Nov. 16, is to perform two Christmas concerts entitled The Perfect Year Dec. 16-17 at London's St. James Theatre.

In a press statement, Dearman commented, "I'm so looking forward to performing at the St James Theatre in December. I've had an incredible year and I want to finish 2013 with a bang! My show is a thank you to my wonderful fans and will contain songs from my theatrical past as well as album material and a few hints at what will be coming up in 2014!! I absolutely love Christmas time and so to get into the spirit of things I'll be including some beautiful Christmas songs as well, it's going to be a showbiz Christmas feast!!" Dearman has previously also played Glinda in Wicked, so when she took over as Elphaba she became the first actress in the show's history to have played both lead roles. Other roles include Eva Peron in Evita on a U.K. national tour, Grizabella in Cats in Cyprus, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls (national tour), Lucy Harris in Jekyll and Hyde (national tour), narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (national tour) and Jan in Grease (national tour and Victoria Palace).
