News Love, NY Concert, with Blaemire, Blood, Flynn and James, Presented in CT Feb. 9 Composer/lyricist Robert Rokicki and librettist/lyricist Michael Ruby's pop-rock musical Love, NY will be presented in concert Feb. 9 at the Kweskin Theater in Stamford, CT.

Part of Curtain Call's Musical Mondays series, the 7:30 PM concert boasts the talents of Nick Blaemire (Cry-Baby; Glory Days), Jennifer Blood (Like You Like It), Jennifer Byrne (Evil Dead the Musical), Amanda Flynn (Wicked), Barry James (Saturday Night Fever) and Vanessa Ray (Spelling Bee).

"Part love letter, part 'dear john' letter to the city we love to hate," Love, NY, according to press notes, "tells the story of five 20-somethings fighting to find their way in the Big Apple, figuring out if what they want in life is what they truly need – all while struggling not to get lost in a sea of 9 million people."

The concert will be followed by the awarding of the American Harmony Prize to composers Rokicki and Ruby.
