SAN DIEGO -- More than a dozen shows--including the road company of the hit musical Grease!--will be offered to the public at "pay what you can" prices for one day only, May 20, announced the San Diego Performing Arts League.
Bargain Arts Day, an annual event, will take place from 10 AM to 6 PM at the ARTS TIX booth in Horton Plaza. Available will be tickets to theatre, music, dance and museum events throughout San Diego county.
Such plays as Nora at La Jolla Playhouse, Tintypes at Old Globe Theatre, Grease at San Diego Players and Mystery of Edwin Drood at Moonlight Ampitheatre are on the list, among others.
Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served, cash-only basis, until they are sold out. Free refreshments, entertainment and validated parking at the Horton Plaza garage will be available.
