A day after the Dec. 12 announcement by the Supper Club that the David Cassidy-Don Reo entertainment was not going forward with a Dec. 19 opening due to issues "on both artistic and managerial levels," word was released that Frank, Dean & Sammy Live in Concert — seen in London, Las Vegas, Branson, MO, and Europe — was coming in to fill the void.
The ready-made production was available, its creators were eager to play in New York, and they were invited into the Supper Club's elegant cabaret setting in the theatre district.
David King's Spirit of the Dance Productions & Dublin Worldwide Productions presents the staging.
The show features actors playing "Francis Albert Sinatra (1915-1998), Dino Paul Crocetti (1917-1995), and Sammy Davis Jr. (1925-1990)," stars who were as well known for their off-stage lives as for the songs they immortalized.
Expect their hits with the backup of the Supper Club Big Band. Tickets are $60, with drinks and a la carte menu available. "Fresh from its triumphant European Tour, this glorious musical tribute celebrates their unique talents with all the energy, glamour and panache that took them to the top and kept them there for decades," according to the Dec. 13 announcement. "We loved them for their music, we loved them for their style, we loved them as performers and personalities."
The show features Gary Anthony as Frank Sinatra, Russ Loniello as Dean Martin and Louis Velez as Sammy Davis Jr.
The list of 29 tunes includes "The Lady Is a Tramp," "Fly Me to the Moon," "I've Got Your Under My Skin," "What Kind of Fool Am I," "Ain't That a Kick in the Head," "That's Life" and more.
Doors open at 6:30 PM with The Supper Club Big Band playing for "your listening and dancing pleasure." The show begins at 8 PM.

Born in London, producer David King has produced and created the internationally acclaimed production of Spirit of the Dance. Currently around the world he has in production, I Can’t Stop Loving You-The Music of Ray Charles, Le Grande Cirque, Flames of Passion, Spirit of Christmas, Spirit of Broadway, Red Hot Broadway, Fiddles on Fire, The Twelve Irish Tenors, Dancing Queen-Abba Celebration and Rock Legends. King currently owns two major theatres in the United States, the Palace Theatre & Performing Arts Centre in Myrtle Beach, S.C. and the Branson Variety Theatre in Branson, MO.
Associate producer Jay Lodge began his theatrical Training at the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in London in 1995 gaining a Scholarship for a three year course in Dance, Drama and Singing. He graduated in 1998 to become part of the cast of Spirit of the Dance, the Irish dance spectacular for a nine month U.S. tour. He then traveled the world with Spirit of the Dance. He has been part of the set up team for Spirit of Christmas (U.S.), Broadway - A Star Spangled Celebration (U.S.), Rock Legends (South Africa), Le Grand Cirque (U.S.), Dancing Queen (U.S.) and most recently I Can't Stop Loving You – The Music Of Ray Charles (Reno, NV and London's West End). He is associate producer for Spirit of Christmas at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.

The Supper Club, at 240 W. 47th Street, opened in 1931 as The Edison Ballroom in The Hotel Edison. With 25-foot vaulted, gilded ceilings, sweeping marble staircases and the booths of crimson velvet, the venue became known as "The Ballroom of the Era," where Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton and their orchestras played. The space reopened in 1970 as The Edison Theatre and offered Oh! Calcutta! for a 13-year run. The Supper Club opened in 1991 in the tradition of classic supper club entertainment and dining.
