News Lypsinka to Synch Longer: Show Extended The latest work from Drag favorite Lypsinka, Lypsinka! As I Lay Lip Synching, has been extended.

Originally scheduled to end its run Aug. 23, the critically acclaimed production will now run through Sept. 7 due to popular demand. In As I Lay Lip-Synching, the concert artist performs — as in the past — to the soundtrack of classic divas. Kevin Malony directs the work presented by TWEED Theatreworks. Lypsinka has made star turns in I Could Go On Lip-Synching (Off Broadway) followed by The Fabulous Lypsinka Show, Lypsinka! Now It Can Be Lip-Synched, Lypsinka! A Day in the Life, Lypsinka Must Be Destroyed! and most recently The Boxed Set. The creation of John Epperson, Lypsinka has also appeared in the films "Wigstock: The Movie," "Vampire's Kiss," "Witch Hunt" and the upcoming HBO film of "Angels in America."

The design team includes Mark T. Simpson (set and lighting) and Bryant Hoven (costume).
