PlayBlog Mac-Haydn Theatre Seeks Help After Fire The Mac-Haydn Theatre, an upstate New York summer stock staple since 1969, is reaching out to the theatre community after a fire ravaged company housing July 13.

One of the homes, which accommodated 12 members of the 2011 stage crew, was destroyed by fire in the early hours of July 13. While none of the company was injured, all of their belongings which were to last them the duration of the summer season, were lost in the blaze.

Despite their loss, the crew and cast followed "the show must go on" motto and continued with performances of Jekyll & Hyde the afternoon of July 13.
The Mac-Haydn Theatre and friends are reaching out to the theatrical community to aid company members in any way possible. Clothing donations (women's sizes 8-18, men's sizes M, L, XL) and monetary donations are welcome.

To make a monetary donation, phone (518) 392-9292.
