Two Hands a comedy by Carol Machado and Ingrid Guimaraes opened July 11 at The Laura Alvim Cultural House - Rio de Janeiro, directed by Demetrio Nicolau.
Young actresses Carol Machado and Ingrid Guimaraes play two elderly women with opposite behaviour and ideas.
This production marks a return to the stage of the writers and actresses who had a blockbuster hit with "Teenager Confessions". This time around, they are talking about adult themes: loneliness, conflict of generations, aging, and death.
Although talking about these serious subjects, Two Hands is far from being a serious drama.
"Everything is such fun!" "We hope that everyone leaves the theatre [and goes] straight to their grandma`s house!" the writers told Playbill On-Line. "All of you are going to miss her a lot!" For tickets and Information, call (021) 267 1647 at The Laura Alvim Cultural House.
