John Leguizamo has also reportedly been cast in the legal thriller, which stars McConaughey as Mickey Haller, a defense attorney who works out of his Lincoln Continental. John Romano will write the screenplay for the film, which is scheduled to begin principal photography in July.

Macy, who co-founded the Atlantic Theater Company with David Mamet, has appeared onstage in Mamet's Speed-the-Plow, American Buffalo and Oleanna. Tomei's stage credits include Top Girls, Salome, Waiting for Lefty and SLAVS! Leguizamo's stage appearances include American Buffalo, Sexaholix…a Love Story, Freak, Mambo Mouth and Spic-O-Rama.
