Macy's will host a "Sing for Your Tickets" competition May 20 in the Fragrance Arcade on the main floor of Macy's Herald Square. The 4-6 PM competition will allow contestants to sing one of eight songs from the Tony songbook. Choices include "Some Enchanted Evening," "The Sound of Music," "Hello, Dolly!," "Cabaret," "Lullaby of Broadway," "What I Did for Love," "All I Ask of You" and "Sunrise, Sunset."
Cast members from the Tony-winning musicals Avenue Q and Rent will judge the contestants, and the two-hour event will also include performances from Beauty and the Beast, All Shook Up and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The contest winner will receive transportation, dinner, red carpet worthy fashions and tickets to the 59th Annual Tony Awards.

Macy's Downtown Crossing in Boston will host a similar event May 20, from 5-7 PM. Contestants should visit the Men's Department on the main floor. The Boston event will include a performance from the cast of the national tour of The Phantom of the Opera, who will also serve as celebrity judges. Macy's West in San Francisco will also offer a Tony package in their "Sing-a-Song" contest May 20 at noon.
