Previously developed at the New York Musical Theatre Festival's 2012 reading series, Madame: The Musical features Lewis-Evans (Shrek) as brothel caretaker Clover and Hamilton (Captain Louie) as Poe, a young troubled teen.

Madame has a book by Hamilton and Weingarten and music and lyrics by David Levinson. Weingarten also directs the Oct. 10 reading, which has music direction by Rick Bertone.

The cast also includes Tommy Martinez (Newsies) as Ruby and Kelcy Griffin (Memphis, Dreamgirls) as Victoria with Michael Barr, Mick Bleyer, Cole Burden (Les Miserables), Peter Davenport (Sound of Music), Hayley Hoffmeister, Alli Foss (Mamma Mia!), Rhys Gilyet, Dan Kohler, Crystal Mosser, Damian Norfleet, Gavyn Pickens, Charles West (Scarlet Pimpernel, Cyrano), Virginia Ann Woodruff (Leap of Faith, The Color Purple), Gayle Samuels (Sunset Boulevard, Grind), Ryan Speakman and Michael Jayne Walker (South Pacific).
