Originally scheduled for Feb. 29, but then pre-empted, newly-minted Oscar nominee and Tony winner Dame Maggie Smith will now guest on "The Charlie Rose Show" on March 1. Smith's nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Robert Altman's murder mystery "Gosford Park" represents her sixth Oscar citation; she has won twice before, for "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" and "California Suite.". Her most recent Broadway appearance was in 1990's Lettice and Lovage by Peter Shaffer. A talked-about London to New York transfer of Alan Bennett's The Lady in the Van starring the esteemed actress has been put on hold with the announcement that she will co-star with Dame Judi Dench in David Hare's newest play, Breath of Life in London this autumn.

"The Charlie Rose Show" airs on PBS late nights. Check local listings for times and channels.
