PlayBlog Malcolm Gets is Caught in "A Ten Cent Love Affair" in Williamstown's Ten Cents A Dance (Video) Tony nominee Malcolm Gets (The Story of My Life) is the only male in Ten Cents a Dance, the new Rodgers and Hart musical crafted by Tony Award-winning director John Doyle, which recently began its U.S. premiere at the Williamstown Theatre Festival Aug. 11. In his free time before curtain, Gets puts the charm on his five female co-stars backstage at Williamstown.

In "A Ten Cent Love Affair," Gets "gets" around, flirting with fellow Ten Cents A Dance cast members: Tony Award winner Donna McKechnie (A Chorus Line), who plays Miss Jones Five; Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd), who plays Miss Jones One; Jane Pfitsch (Company), who plays Miss Jones Two; Jessica Tyler Wright (Sweeney Todd), who plays Miss Jones Three; and Diana DiMarzio (Sweeney Todd), who plays Miss Jones Four.

As he checks in with the ladies before show time, Gets stops them as they are practicing their instruments for Doyle's latest actor-musician piece and tells them each to meet him after curtain call. However, the scandal erupts when the five leading ladies share the same dressing room.
