Gets, who last appeared on Broadway in the intimate 2009 Broadway musical The Story of My Life, will star as Cioffi, a Boston detective with a love for the stage. His co-star is the previously announced Sally Struthers, who will portray the tough-as-nails producer Carmen Bernstein. Ashley Spencer will appear as Nikki Harris.

Charley Repole will direct the production that runs June 22-27 at the Benedum Center. Michael Lichtefeld will choreograph, with musical direction by Tom Helm and lighting design by John McClain.

Curtains premiered on Broadway in 2007. The musical has a score by John Kander and lyrics by his late collaborator, Fred Ebb. Rupert Holmes penned the book and additional lyrics for the musical. The late Peter Stone authored the original book. The production starred David Hyde Pierce, Debra Monk, Karen Ziemba and Jason Daniely.
