A spokesperson for the ABBA musical confirmed that Bernier will replace Jeanine Morick as Tanya Oct. 22 at the Winter Garden Theatre. As previously reported, that day will also welcome Dee Hoty as Donna, John Hillner as Sam, Harriett D. Foy as Rosie, Michael Winther as Harry and Jenny Fellner as Sophie.
Mamma Mia! will mark Bernier's Broadway debut. The singer actress, however, played Tanya in the Toronto production of the musical. Her other Canadian stage credits include Proof, M. Butterfly, Lend Me a Tenor, Anything That Moves and Outrageous.
